Woah lots of activity. I've been and will be gone for extended periods of time but I'll try my best to keep up.

As for the tileset, it is nearly completed but I haven't had a chance to really square it up. I've tried to make it a bit more graphically styled to make use of the symbolic nature of DF.

Oh, hey! I didn't know you were making a graphics set. I'm working on one too!

Can you point me to yours so I can cannibalize it learn from your techniques?

I don't know what this is.

Anyway, Fault: looking at it again, the bepupiled style experiment kind of reminds me of the beautiful and talented Tracy J. Lackadaisy, an author of a webcomic about cats. Her author avatar, I mean. This fellow.

Wow. I'd never seen that artist before. That is some gorgeous stuff!

I love the creepy tree-man, too. That's the kind of thing you tell little dwarves about to keep them inside.
Don't go wandering at night, or the ELVES will get you. They're seven feet tall, and they have huge horns...

Suppose I should post something, this piccy took about an hour and a quarter,

This is good. Are you working with MS paint, or just making it look like you are?

If I had to criticize it, the nose is a bit weird in a non-specific way. And the bright yellow background is too yellow.

That's very impressive.
I'm absolutely abysmal at drawing faces.

Paint, though? Really? Why torture yourself?

Also, I know it's not really on topic, but I've been perusing that cat webcomic thing,
and in the name of Armok! I just can't get over how incredibly, mind-bogglingly, staggeringly
beautiful every square inch of that art is! It blows me away! I... I think I'm in love.

I will read it. And I will scrutinize it. ...And I will learn.

I've never read it, but Lackadaisy cats is basically the only anthro-art I'm actually willing to look at.
I think that's a compliment...

I was merely pointing out the similarity of Soadreqm's creature with the guy in that story, as he himself was wondering what the hell he drew :) not comparing yours to anyone elses. Comparing art ability is beyond me, as I have no idea what I would be talking about. Although I like your pupils. Do more pupils.
