On a different note, after attempting to play Dungeon Master as a child and running into only the second of the game's monsters, I felt uneasy near trees for several years....  Even though it was technically a shroom and not a tree....

They're covered in toxic barbs and grow frag grenades for fruit Which are also toxic. Need I say more?

if I'm not mistaken, that tree is growing next to the basketball court at the school in my town.

I am scared now. (more than I was before, anyways, wshen it was just a freakishly spiked tree)
