The mead reaction acts pretty silly if you increase the product/reagent ratio above 1:1; dwarves will try to brew all of the honey in a given barrel at a given time (barrels seem to be able to hold at least 9-10), but the output can be too large for the output container to hold, resulting in the entire stack of mead being left in the workshop because it doesnt fit in a barrel, and dwarves wont drink it because it isn't in a barrel! So it just sits there. Complete waste of booze.

No way yet to get royal jelly or wax cakes out of them. I'll contemplate that...
