The Daily Mirror is a tabloid, and it costs 45p.  You really can't expect quality from it - it's mainly just celebrity gossip and mildly sexy pictures for those who think that porn doesn't exist on the internet.  The Daily Mail, on the other hand, is ostensibly a "Serious newspaper" that delivers news in an unbiased manner.  I probably don't need to tell you that this is bullcrap, and they load it with ridiculous opinion pieces, massive right wing bias and gossip (their favourite cliche is "Why oh why can't...").  Basically it's bad for pretending to be a proper newspaper (The "Serious Newspaper" club is currently The Guardian, The Independant, The Telegraph and The Times.  Their faults are, respectively: subtle liberal bias, gossip and tabloid style stories, crazed right wing bias and being owned by Rupert Murdoch).

Ah, thanks for clearing that up. For people interested in making an unfounded opinion on me; when I'm in englend and get round to newspapers I tend to end up with the Guardian.
