the cage is more like a jail cell than a cage. in the corner you see the water dispenser and the tiny slit where they slip you food from, and in the other the indoor plumbing they were gracious enough to give you. in the center is your straw bedding. the bars are metal. across from you is another cage holding the lion you've developed a passive aggressive relationship with over the years. he seems to be jealous of the pearl-like iridescent scales that have replaced your pale white flesh as of late, as well as your newly discovered power of shooting lightning from your mouth. this pleases you greatly.

Better idea: Wait for the next fight. When you are released, find the person who bought you (if he's the one that runs this shin dig, bonus) and throw him into the arena for the other animals to rip him apart.

About an hour passes. two guards in armor come with the hated chain and collar they place on you to escort you out to the arena. they open your cage.

you zap the guards! the metal armor helps conduct the electricity into their bodies. they fall to the ground unconscious. you are now free to leave. to  your right is the arena. to your left is a hallway leading further into the arena building.
