So maybe a reloading gun is a bit much, but what about just multi sectioned turrets? Gonna be able to research guns that are like that?

I just want a cannon thats the size of half the ship.

The weapons you put on your ship you can scale however you like if you want. It doesn't affect the power of the weapon.

By default, in my game I only allow the turrets to consist of one section, this is to prevent the turret itself from absorbing too much damage instead of the ship's sections.

It may be plausible to allow players to make turrets with additional sections, but those additional sections will count towards the main section count. Normally the base turret does NOT count as a additional section.

How do cheap ships work? can you put together a whole fleet of smaller ships while someone else spends all their points on one big ship? Would all the smaller ships need to be identical? Or is it just so you can have a small ship with more weapons?

Could I get my randomly chosen parts now to start scheming?

Cheap ships will work just fine! There will be a limit - I don't want to place 100 ships for example - but it will be reasonable. The smaller ships will not need to be identical. If you have 5 of each of 4 ship types it should be rather cool!

I don't think its fair for you to get your parts now... but I will be starting the thread soon and you can start on the ship hulls right now

Mah ship is ready. One of them anyway.

15 sections, 16 if you count the fact that my turret has 2 sections. Theres a lot of overlap, but I do love how it looks when its broken though.
The barrel is kinda flimsy, but that doesnt come up too often while fighting.

And another ship. Doesnt look as cool in my opinion, but I really didnt have a particular thing to build it around.

Just a regular ship with a couple of average guns. Has 8 sections and so is much weaker than the cannon one. There is an extra section in the back, so propably gonna put this on flanking AI.

Didnt manage to get a picture when the lights were up this time. I think this one came out better than the last one.
I just built a tank. It looks pretty different from the others, but I think I still got the same style.

Has......a bunch of sections. More than the cannon I think. This is a strong ship, gonna draw fire away from the others.
Now I got the 3 regular roles of ships and Im really all out of ideas.

I read the setions on the big one and got 27.

27-2=25 25*25=625

I think I am going to set the money limit for the tournament at $50,000 by the way.

Right now I am sorting out some technical difficulties with getting the whole thing going. Shad0w was helping me for a couple hours earlier, and I think I finally found a solution.
