Continue searching for the disturbance, or any other planar disturbances which may be harming the earth, (demon's, demon summoners, fire elementals destroying forests, ect.  but try to mostly find the  main disturbance.)

Aw, I knew I should have brought a slashing weapon, or maybe some combat magic. I don't really think my club would be effective here.

Hey, I don't think Zchris' body is actually injured, so my healing probably wouldn't be effective.

Cure Moderate Wounds on Lawrence.

Focusing in on the only lead you have, you notice a disturbance... coming from Schalade? No... that can't be right.

Cure Moderate Wounds on Lawrence.
3+2=5: With a wave (and faint glowing) of your hand, Lawrence's wounds disappear in an instant. In fact, he seems to be slightly better off than he was before.

+6 to Healing

Attempt to summon a slashing weapon for Nirur.
1: You call upon your knowledge of the ether to create a weapon for Nirur, but the lingering effects of his healing magic... stings? Ow! Well, it distracts you long enough to lose focus, and you summon a blade directly above your head. Luck 3: You try to doge out of the way, but it falls on your left arm, causing bad damage. Luckily your scales protect you somewhat.

Left Arm: Lightly Wounded

On the bright side, Nirur now has access to a sword. One covered in blue blood, anyway...

You notice the scales continue to grow down your legs, and some start heading up your neck...
Same thing as always.
5: Spurred by horrible images of what must be Dwarf Hell, You re-attempt to re-enter into your body and succeed this time. It takes a while to get used to controlling your limbs again, but you're back baby!

Quote from: Balor
RWARRR!
5: You let out a piercing roar and breathe flames onto the puny mortals. RTD 4: One is caught in the flames, and is scorched on his right side. RTD 6: The other dodges away, again.

Lawrence

Right Arm: Scorched
Chest: Seared

My healing magic ACTUALLY WORKED?!?!? Yay!

I celebrate this joyous occasion by grabbing the scimitar and slashing the creature in the right ankle, trying to cripple it's ability to stand.

I should note that Lawrence's right arm still works, it's merely scorched and not burned to a crisp. Fire equivalent of a light wound.

My healing magic ACTUALLY WORKED?!?!? Yay!

I celebrate this joyous occasion by grabbing the scimitar and slashing the creature in the right ankle, trying to cripple it's ability to stand.
4: With a wide swing, you slash at the balor's right leg. You hit him in the hamstring, dealing moderate damage to it.

Balor
Right Leg: Moderately Wounded

+4 to Blade User

Attempt to douse the flames of rage and malice with water.
3+3=6: You summon a great torrent of water which douses the battlefield, extinguishing the flames. Good thing your allies know how to swim...

+4 to Summoning

As the scales finish covering your body, more knowledge of the void creeps into your head and you realize that you have ceased to be human. That right arm you summoned was the arm of a Void Marauder, and it's exposure to summoning magic and the etheral planes has completely transformed your body into one.

+6 to Summoning

As a Void Marauder, when you are killed your soul returns to Ex'Nari, a dimension parallel to this one. It will be difficult, but not impossible, to return to this dimension when you are slain.

New Ability: Soul of Ex'Nari

Do the dwarf thing where I cut the legs out from under people.
4+1=5: Anxious to get revenge on the demon, you grab your axe and start hacking away. You give the balor major wounds to both legs, and he is barely able to remain standing.
+6 to Axe User

Left Leg: Severely Wounded
Right Leg: Severely Wounded

Quote from: Balor
Curse Tiny Mortals
1: In rage you summon dark magic to afflict those who attacked you, but something about one of them messes up your spell and it backfires. Ontop of the grievous wounds you have suffered, this is just too much, and you collapse to the ground.

Head to Schalade to investigate the disturbance.
3: You head to Schalade, but are unable to better discern the source of the disturbance. Whatever is causing it is masking it's presence very well.

Alright, we now have two immortals. Two left to go. Will they succeed or die trying? Only the dice will tell!

Walk around Schalade, asking if anyone has seen suspicious activities, while trying to pierce the viel surrounding the disturbance.

I'm going to try to use this crystal to gain immortality, I think.

Reclaim my rapier, then deliver a coup d'grace with the blade. The one that's still not in my inventory.

Triumphantly strike a heroic pose on top of the slaughtered demon if it's dead by my turn. If it isn't, attempt to aid Nirur in dispatching it.
