5: Walking through the forest, you talk about arcane theory. By discussing the similarities between Lawrence's summoning and your healing, you pick up quite a bit of knowledge about how magic works.

6: While discussing magical theory, you suddenly notice where you are. The cave isn't too far off, and you sprint towards it. As the entrance comes into view, something else does as well... Another shadow, moving on it's own. You don't think it's noticed you... yet.

Draw sword, and attempt to imbue it's blade with the power of earth (making it stronger and less likely to break) then head into the temple, sword in hand.

1: You plunge your sword into the earth. The guardian looks quizzically at you. Summoning your reserves of magic, you try to absorb the nearby earth into the blade... You hear a faint hum, and your blade starts to quiver. Luck 6: In a panic, you realize the magic from the temple is lashing out! You wrench the blade from the earth before it shatters!

1: Looking around, you don't see any hills. You do see a lot of trees, however. you begin to climb one, and almost reach the top before a branch breaks. Luck 1: You fail to catch anything, and plummet to the ground! Luck 1: On the way down, you are attacked by spikey, pointey branches and various other painful objects! You land on the ground with a sickening *Th_uD*.
