Hurray, it's back!
...But my arm's not.
Time to put that int score to good use.
Return to the library and study up on healing.
I'll get my two-arm status back eventually, one way or another.

5: You head to the library and find a book titled "Healing For Non-Dummies". Inside is an array of useful yet complex information your brain picks up on immediately. Wohoo! You can now heal minor wounds. In fact, you can heal light wounds, too.
+6 to Healing
New Spell: Cure Minor Wounds
New Spell: Cure Light Wounds

Curse the gods for my atrocious luck.
2: You curse the gods for your atrocious luck. After waiting a few minutes, nothing happens. It appears that no divine beings are listening to you this day.
Attempt to reverse the effect used to learn Ice magic and Learn Fire Magic
3: You try to pour heat into your arm. It thaws quite suddenly and unexpectedly, and the now thawed ice crystals have pierced your arm in many places. Congratulations, your arm in now a mangled, bloody mess.

fuck, pick up sword, mutilate unconcious bandit with sword.
4: You reach down and pick up your sword. You proceed to whack the bandit upside the head, splitting it in two. Then you slit it's writ, cut it's chest open, sever it's legs, poke it's eyes out, and turn the remains into a bloody pulp.
+2 to Greatsword Skill

I have received notice from Z. Chris that he will be unable to post for 10 days. Until he resumes posting or gives me further notice, Z. Chris is giving total control over his character to Kilakan.

Finally, I'm getting somewhere.
Continue my studies of healing magic!
Luck 5: The aching in your arm disappears! (I just realized I forgot to do this last turn).

5: You continue delving into the depths of knowledge contained in the book. You learn some advanced healing spells.

+6 to Healing
New Spell: Cure Moderate Wounds
New Spell: Regeneration

you sure he meant me?????? Not the best choice
Well, if I interpreted this correctly:
Quote
I'LL POST IN THE RTD WHEN I'M BACK.  KILIKAN DECIDES MY ACTIONS TILL THEN.
Then yes, you're in charge. Anyway:
advance together, swords drawn and ready to the bandits house, ready for any attack.
You two quickly move up to the bandit's house. You are not attacked.

Go and get healed at the medic ward
3: You walk into the medic ward. The healer is able to lessen the pain and stop the bleeding, but your arm remains useless.

Head to the academy and closely examine the magic courses they offer.
You walk up to the registrar and inquire about the classes. They are currently offering:

Inquiries of the Astral Planes
Introduction to Alchemy

Regeneration sounds useful, I'll cast that on myself.
Regeneration sounds useful, I'll test that on Ragnok.

Shouldn't my cure spells be all under one category, since we don't have to worry about mana, or is there some reason to use a lesser cure spell?

Well, the Cure Minor Wounds now counts as a "simple" action, and succeeds on a 3 or better(instead of a 4 or better) and gets a +2 to rolls(instead of a +1 to rolls).

Ah, very useful. Well, it would be if it was a bit more powerful. Is there a general rule for when a spell counts as a simple action?

When your capable of casting a spell two tiers higher at normal difficulty.(Minor = 1, Light = 2, Moderate = 3, so Minor is simple. If you learn Critical, then Light will be simple. This does not work for the elemental spells and ruens, because those are different, I., Terra Strike = Earth I, you would need Earth III for it to be simple)

I'll have him head in ahead of me, while I cast terra strike on any bandits on the first floor, he can attack the first bandit he sees.

Kilikan. Before we go anywhere else, we retreat back to the inn.  We then prepare to patch up my shoulder.

Sorry for the sporadic postings. I just moved to a new place and the wi-fi here is crap. I might actually have to pay for internet now... ah well. Propoably won't be any more updates for a week or two, despite having just resumed.

If Bulborbish posts by the next time I get the internet working, I'll do everything then. If he still hasn't, then I'll just make him go along with Torir.
