I'm a terrible person. I only just now realized I have the spells to make some spiffy magical grenades.

I'll begin by trying to get a good control on the rocks I have, by making them slowly spin in a circle in front of my hands, out of sight of the house the bandits are in, if Chris gets in a fight, I'll shoot the rocks forward one at a time, trying to knock out or kill the bandits via sharp rock through head tactic.
1+1=2: You take the rocks out of your pocket and start concentrating on them. You will them to lift up, they start quivering slightly. Not much else happens.
I go form a study group on Arcane Theory with some random PC who's struggling with the subject.
4: You go find Ragnok, and begin studying Arcane Theory. Together, you manage to learn a little more about the basic concepts.

okay
2: Despite this, you can't get any further on the advanced concepts.
Intelligence Roll!
6: However, you managed to work out some of the advanced concepts after a bit of theorizing together.

+4 to Magical Theory

I'll make a mental note of where this cave is, then scale the mountain and try to find Schalade.
4: You memorize the location of the cave and how to get back, hike up the foothills until you can see over the treetops. Schalade is far to the southwest. You see two paths to get to the city. You can either backtrack through the forest and try to find your way to the road, or stay in the less dense foothills and track around the forest.

CHARGE UP MY KI.
3: You focus on your ki. It takes a while, but you soon come into touch with your inner energy.

"Hey, I think I can make a pine cone explode if thrown right."

I go outside and find a pine cone. After enchanting it with runes of combustion and energy, I throw it into an empty field.

So many things can go wrong, and little good will come of it if it goes right. The perfect action.

Where are the bandits? Aren't they coming to get us? Because we made a bunch of noise?

I'll try and find the road back to Schalade.

I just realized, but they probably dumped me somewhere close to the road, come to think of it, so all of those previous actions would have been unnecessary if I had just 'scanned the nearby area'.

I'll draw my greatsword and head around to the back door, while trying to avoid attention, once Chris manages to burst through and get attacked I'll come through the door and blast the first bandit I see with the rocks.

I go outside and find a pine cone. After enchanting it with runes of combustion and energy, I throw it into an empty field.

So many things can go wrong, and little good will come of it if it goes right. The perfect action.
5: You somehow manage to find a pine cone, despite the lack of any pine trees for miles. You also somehow manage to carve a rune of combustion onto it, when it lacks any clear surface area to do so. You throw it up into the air.

KABOOM! You have to shield your face from the intense heat as burning splinters fly all around. You guess this attack could easily take out a human, or several smaller monsters.

+4 to Runecrafting.

Kilikan, you get the back door, I'll handle these guuuUUUUUUUUUUUYS!!!!!!

1: You run up to the bandit's house and burst through the door. You get caught in one of their traps, and lie entangled on the floor. Four of the bandits are in the room; one seems to be upstairs.

Status: Entangled(Can't do any actions until freed; -1 to Dodge)
Bandits: Suprised(-1 to Dodge for 1 turn)

I'll draw my greatsword and head around to the back door, while trying to avoid attention, once Chris manages to burst through and get attacked I'll come through the door and blast the first bandit I see with the rocks.
3+1: You enter in the back door and launch your stones at the nearest target's head!
Dodge Roll!
5-1: The bandit overcomes his shock at seeing Z. Chris tumble through the door and whips around, blocking the stones with his arm.

+1 to Elementalism
Bandit: Wounded Arm(-1 to Attack)

I'll try and find the road back to Schalade.

I just realized, but they probably dumped me somewhere close to the road, come to think of it, so all of those previous actions would have been unnecessary if I had just 'scanned the nearby area'.
5: You take off towards Shalade at a lightning pace, charging through the forest you just came through. You manage to make it to the city in record speed! Any opposition was left behind in the dust, and you arrive at the city gates unharmed.

+1 to Agility

Take a break from Studying Arcane Theory to Practice Wind Magic

6: You continue to study wind magic and form a powerful gale of wind. You throw the gale at the wall, but it rebounds and knocks you down, sprawled on the ground.

+2 to Elementalism

Can a runecrafter eventually enchant rooms or buildings? I'm imagining a spiral tower enchanted with runes of energy, menacing with spikes.

Nonetheless, I'll head to the city square and begin to whore out my architecture, mechanics, and carpentry skills. Surely SOMEONE needs something repaired/built.

I never said to leave the inn. I said to remain in the inn, and wait for the bandits.  Redo my turn.

I meant to hold the inn.  I want to defend my current position. That was what all the "bar the door" and other such stuff was about.

They come to me...
