6: You jump inside the sled and start pushing north. The giant vehicle easily clears a path through the foilage, and you make incredible progress. After a while the trees start to thin, and you find yourself at the foot of some mountains, likely the ones you saw north of Schalade earlier. You get out of the sled and look around. Behind you is a huge path created by the sled; it will be easy for anything to follow you. There is also a cave entrance nearby, which seems to radiate a sinister evil. You gain a strength boost from pushing the heavy sled around.

6: You grit your teeth and pop your shoulder back into place. You exerted so much force that you probably bruised your muscle, but you can move your arm again.

I'll head outside and stand a fair distance from the bandit's house and scout it out, trying to see if it's lying on rock, if all the men are inside, if it's one-story or two, and how many rooms it may possibly have. All the while avoiding detection.
6: You sneak outside and begin surveying the house. Like the others, it is built on the soft dirt around the hamlet. There are two stories, and it seems that all the men are inside. You probably could control the mud nearby, but it wouldn't do much good in a combat situation.

5: You return to the library and grab some books off the shelf on combat runes. Flipping to the fire section, you find several well-detailed pictures of various runes, and commit them to memory.
