I sure hope you aren't looking to get that improved.

Au contrare.

I couldn't resist.

BTW, it's transparent (but in order to look right, it's in PNG-24).

I think I did quite good for a 5 minute drawing.

Now I wonder if this would have happened had I chosen not to state what I did.

Umm... how about a half-finished 3D model?

Sadly due to  varying degrees of fail on my part, it probably won't get resurrected. But a drawing of what you envision as the finished product has some coolness potential.

I guess I'll post this up.

I worked on it some more, I would like to fix up the items and make the background more awesome if I find the inspiration for it. Of course I won't complain if someone else wants to take it.

Woah! This thread is so aweome I just HAVE to post something more!

Steampunk sketch!
This is suposed to be a genetleman tending to a magitech computer:

magic is used to keep alive brains and other bodyparts in jars, subdue them, and facilitate comunication. It also have many parts that are clasical mechanical babage-engine things and as such shuld have punched cards and typwriter-keyboards for interface, but also helmets for more complex input (generaly, the helmets are for user-interfacing and resources, and mechanical input for actual programs.). It also move brains around a lot, and one main part of integration is spliting brains into right and left parts and recombining them with the coresponding part from another brain in realtime... Ok, i'm ranting, i have thought a lot abaut this thing because it's a main plot point in an RP that never got of the ground (yet).

I have NO idea why I spent this much time on something like this -.- Probably a combination of an obsessive compulsive need to respond properly to this community, and a desperateing deprivation of art related activities lately.

The worst part is that it ended up looking almost identical...
