No, because he was lynched. If B wasn't lynched, B would STILL be in a state of quantum uncertainty until A became certain of his/her role. If A gets lynched and turns townie, B is certain to be dead, and so dies. If A gets lynched and turns doctor, B is not dead from that attack, although he/she may still be partially dead from attacks on other nights.

In any case, we should wait a night just so that if we lynch the cop, we at least have a result to go by.

No, no.  B is flipping town as a result of the exposed scum-kill.

So, the point is this.  B is quantum-killed, so the mod says he is dead.  Then it turns out (exposed the next day) that on the same night B was killed, B was quantum-protected.

Is B still alive, or not?


Secondly, we will get no results from the cop... remember?  If we lynch the cop, then his actions resolve.  The actions resolve in the form of PMs to a dead man, and his role is effectively useless.

I was under the impression everybody got cop results, but they were only meaningful if you actually turn out to be the cop.

Yeah, during the night we will be a doctor, cop, townie, and mafia at the same time.  We will do our actions for all of these possibilities.

It seems that I have forgotten, once again, that other people may be privy to information I do not have.  Apologies to all for my silly mistakes.

I will still have to ask, however, about how the scumteams should coordinate themselves with their partners.  In other words, are we doing the standard "Hey Joe, let's kill Susan?" or is something else going on?

It's unclear at this point.  We all have the same possibilities.  Day 2 will bring more details.  No one should die during the night.  Unless we ALL choose as a mafia member to kill the same person.

Sorry for all the questions... it just seems that it would be better to lay all the information on the table about how this game will be conducted before we continue.

In any case, does anyone else have an opinion about the lynch/no lynch policy?  If we're waiting for cop information, it might be a good idea to unanimously check one person, and then compare results in some controlled way so we can get a confirmed townie without telling the potential-scum too much.  Otherwise, we will know no more than we do today.

Yes, I agree.  Everyone should as cop investigate the same person.  There is no reason to lie.  We are all the same right now.

Well, the problem is, even if we all check the same person, we really don't know anymore than we do today. We'll all get random answers. We COULD lynch that person, but then all we know is a few people who aren't the cop. No, it would be better if we all inspected somebody different from everybody else. Town results are ok, but getting mafia results are far more important, since once a person has a mafia result on a person, it becomes more likely they're mafia for the lynch.

BTW, can we all promise not to vig kill and mafia kill different people, at least for tonight? It'll make things a lot easier.
