All i ever did was break the barrier, then charge in with my precursor. then again, i decked the thing out for speed and crew. i got rid of my weapons for the bomb segment.

Equipped with one hellbore cannon, one tracking, one crew pod, one hi-fuel tank, one point defense and one shiva furnace.

I used it in the fight against the Ur Quan guards (after using up five with one damaged guard remaining), as I cannot see how the other three remaining ships could do it and I want to reserve some ships for Sa-Mantra.

A Pkunk fury can clean up the green blobs and fireballs easily... after I found out these blobs and fireballs do have a sense of self-preservation. If you do the Fury "dance" (for one or two circles) at a right distance, the fireballs and blobs will get hit and then back off, giving you time to turn away and keep the distance.

1. Are there alternative endings? I'm guessing not since the races are just talking like actors.

2. Is Fwiffo in the ending? He got killed in the final fight in my game.

3. Is alliance with Orz dangerous in anyway (as long as you don't ask too much about Androsynth)? Both Arilou and Spathi warned that Orz cannot be trusted, and wiki quoted the game makers said that Orz are "they", a hostile lifeform from other dimensions.

1. No, and this is kinda what annoys me about the game. There is no other way to win, to my knowledge, except that one particular way.

2. I forget. I don't think so, but he may be.

3. The Orz are supposed to have a problem with entering greenspace, but they don't. I think they were supposed to turn on you if you enter greenspace, but just the ships around you. Don't think that is implemented.

I do like how the Orz, pretty much the best ship short of the Utwig, is available immediately at the start with almost no prep.

1)There is one other ending. Most people really dont realize it,but almost every game has an extra ending, including this one. the the Urquan kill everyone, thats a second ending. a third ending would be when you die and the precursor ship is destroyed.

2)i havent beaten the game in a longtime, so i dont remember what the ending was like.

3) It was meant to set things up for the third game, and if you play what aparrently everyone except me thinks is a wanna-be game it kinda mentions many different dimensional beings, from the ORZ to the Arilou to the ultimate bad guy of the game.


speaking of that game, i remember someone(IndonesiaWarMinister) mentioning that Fallout 3 was not Fallout 3 but OBLIVION:FALLOUT,

not to make that argument necro'd or nothing, but technically its not OBLIVION:FALLOUT, because there is no such game as Oblivion. least, not the way you are thinking.

Oblivion isnt the title of the game, Just like Morrowind and Daggerfall are not the names of previous games.

thats just a secondary title. if you wanna insult the idea that FO3 isnt canon, then you should at least not insult Bethesda by calling it Elder Scrolls 5: Fallout 3...


besides I Dont remember ES4:O having VATS. or guns. or Deathclaws.

You are on the escape pod, in front of a view window, speeding away from Sa-Mantra. A countdown readout is shown at the bottom... BOOM! Bright light envelops the whole screen.

The next thing you see is an angel's (Syreen commander's) face... you thought you are dead. She woke you up for the big moment - you're in the hospital of the Earth starbase, unconcious for three weeks, while the alliance was working hard to dismantle the slave shield.

Then an old man is shown, wearing a red uniform which reminds you of StarTrek, sitting against a tree, talking to two kids. The old man is you, and the kids are your children, and the Syreen commander, Talana, is your wife. The planet is revealed to be your home planet (whatitsname), not Earth. The children asked about what you have done in the five years before returning, how you and Talana got married, and where did you get that ship from.

You tell the kids it's not the time to tell them yet. Then the view moves sideways, revealing a HUGE starship of Precursor origin...

Then credits start scrolling. The top portion of the screen shows each alien race in turn, and they say something funny (no voice acting though). Many are talking as if they are actors.

During the credits, the Talking Pet said he escaped at the last moment, and he was promised the leading role of the next game, a game full of revenge, blood, violence, and lots of gratuitous alien sex.

the alien actor thingie was one of those things that were meant to give another good laugh in the game before the game truly ended... tho in mine they did have voiceovers.... but i dont remember which version i had.

BTW, concerning Syreens...

Their skin colour is blue and their eyes glow green sometimes. However in the ending sequence Talana's skin is white and she has normal, non-glowing eyes.

Was the blue and green effects of their combat uniform (knife included)?

Or was that a skin care product?

Or was Talana wearing heavy makeup for the final scene?
