You know what would be really funny? If someone went through, and replaced all the Doom Guy's talking with quotes from Shakespeare plays.

Do you know what be even more awesome?

People not making suggestions, and instead actually making the things they were going to suggest.

I wish the gameplay was as good as the comic. I guess that's what comics are for, to romanticize stuff.
Doom is as good shooters get so fuck that post.

Wow.  That is... Wow, that is HILARIOUS.  They should hire those guys to write the next DOOM game.

The best part about Rashilul's post is that he didn't even use "Doomy Dooms of Doom".

In any case:  "At this particular moment in time I don't believe I have a healthier or more deeply-felt respect for any object in the universe than this here shotgun..."

"Now I'm radioactive.  That can't be good."

I'm talking about the bronze colossus. It's supposed to be made entirely of bronze.
But really he's just a softie inside. They all are really. When megabeasts come to your fort you never welcome them inside and give them a hug, do you. You heartless bastards...

To be fair, the first lines of dialogues are because of the Doom guy injected himself with that crazy Berserker Pack.

Has anyone here played the Doom Roguelike?  It has a lot of quotes from the comic.

It's also fairly difficult.

The entirety of page 15 is the best FPS related quote ever.

The difficulty is pretty random. I managed to win it in my second or third attempt, and I literally steamrolled over every single enemy, demon, cacodemon, cyberdemon with the awesome amount of weapons I had found. But it was lucky and further attempts got me nowhere.

The Doom Comic is, hands down, the best thing ever. It has been the best thing ever since it was written, and will continue to be the best thing ever until the universe itself ends.

The best part about the Doom Comic is trying to imagine what the author was thinking while he was writing it.

Goodness, abrasive, unnecessary post right thar.

Anyway, I remember the first time I read that comic. I became radioactive. In retrospect, it wasn't good.
