Genre: I only do Video Game Music, and that covers a pretty large range of stuff, there's classicalish stuff as well as good ol' Rock/Metal on my iPod. If it is of any interest, this is my favorite.

Volume (1-10, 1 being the lowest): 4 to 5, I guess. I like it loud sometimes but that tends to absolutely sever my ties to the environment.

Hours each day: Each free minute. Okay, this is overblown, but I listen to music... appoximately six to seven hours a day, as the upper limit.

Genre: What ever takes my fancy that day. However I do listen from metal, through rock, into classical, hitting industrial, prog rock, soft rock, severing clear of glam metal, into blues and on wards.

Volume (1-10, 1 being the lowest): Depends. If I'm in a car, then it will be about 7-8, if I am working in the quiet it will be about 4-5, and then listening to music in bed, then 1.  Then it also depends on what song it is, some I like just that bit louder.

Hours each day: About an hour a day.

First ten minutes of play I ate my loincloth and then got some limbs torn off by a super friendly rat. Thumbs up from me.

I'll cut to the chase, my ears are more fcked from concerts and mp3's than anything, though I don't listen to music loud, even if it's prolonged. My ears get fatigued but I think that's more to do with the mp3 audio spectrum than prolonged listening.

I went to the Prog Nation concert in Manchester last night.
Ears still ringing, head and neck ache from some serious banging of the head.

Genre: Everything, but my biggest collection is of old school Heavy Metal(i.e. Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Metallica, Judas Priest)

Volume: On a scale of 1 to 10, about 7 or 8. Unless no one is home, then it's like 15 and I sing along. ;D

Hours: School days: 2 to 5 hours
          Non-school days: 8 to 12

(Just for reference, "Everything" is defined as country, to rap, to metal, to blues, to classical, to southern rock, to harcore, to nu-metal, to name it and I listen to some of it.)
