Small "interview" about music.

Hello there guys, we are currently doing a school project about music.
All I need is just you guys to tell me how loud you listen to your music on your MP3 players/Ipods, the main genre you listen to, and for how long you listen to it each day.

Hours each day:
Maybe about 2 hours a day. I listen to music on my computer (I never go anywhere) and so I listen to it when I'm not playing a game/talking to friends on skype.

Genre: Classic rock (Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, ect.) and alternative rock (Nirvana, Green Day, David Bowie...)


Volume (1-10, 1 being the lowest): 4 to 6 normally. 7 or 8 if I'm in a loud public place.


Hours each day: Under an hour on a busy day, up to 3 hours if I'm not doing a lot.

Genre:Videogame music,D&B,Otherwise varied


Volume (1-10, 1 being the lowest):4ish in the morning,then I bring it up to 7-ish,it's really hard to determine though.


Hours each day:Whenever I'm on the computer,which is almost all day.

Genre: Soundtracks, Dire Straits


Volume (1-10, 1 being the lowest): I listen my in car. From 1 to 10... mmm between 6 and 8, normally (I think it goes up to forty, and normally I listen at 26. Sometimes I go lower -rarely as low as 17- sometimes upper (rarely as high as 35).


Hours each day: Depends on the trip and how many I do.
THe longest is from the dorm/university to home, which is every one/two weeks and takes around hour and a half

Genre: Everything except Rhythm and Blues. (R&B) I especially  love Muse.


Volume (1-10, 1 being the lowest): 10. It ain't loud unless your ears are bleedin'.


Hours each day: About.... 12 on weekdays. I sleep usually 6-10 hours a day. I don't listen to music when I wake up. On schooldays, usually about 4-5 hours.

Volume: between 7 and 10
Time: 0 at the moment. Will be close to twelve or so when I finally get my music collection renamed and transferred between computers.

Volume: About halfway, so 5 (unless I'm in the mood to listen to some really fucking loud music)

Genre: Orchestral Metal and Melodic Death Metal.
Sonata Arctica, Children of Bodom, Slayer, etc.

Volume (1-10, 1 being the lowest): Mostly around a 6. If I am the only one in the house, goes up to 9 normally, and sometimes up to 11.


Hours each day: Several. Varies also. Depends on whether it is a weekday or not, if I use the computer or not, etc. I listen to music almost every time my computer is on. If you after numbers, 4-9 hours.

Erm, I use a Cowon D2 and a pair of Skullcandy, in-ear noise-reduction earphones. This makes the volume really, really loud. So while it can go all the way up to 100 volume, I only listen to it within the 10 -15 range.

So... that's what? A one out of 10?

I like to listen to non-generic stuff. It sounds cliche, definitely, but I prefer listening to a guy with no sense of pitch sing about emus and goats than songs about love or fame. I have no idea what genre that would be. Also a big Chopin fan, so you could put classical.

I use my MP3 player when I'm out of the house... so about... 6 hours a day with regular breaks when I meet someone or classes or something.
