I don't know, the more I look at it, the more it looks to me like it might not even open at all.  It just looks like a mouth.  They're like mayflies, once they leave the larval stage, they live such a short time that they don't eat.

Doesn't it say that they inject larva with their claws?  Maybe that was the strategy guide.  But yes, that's my theory, if only because it better explains the way they attack.  Not that the claws are just for show either, if you've seen what they can do to HWPs.  Although that might just be how violently they try to implant the egg.

And now I have this awesome mental image of Chryssalids humping a tank to death.  I love X-COM.

Because I wanted you to set up the even more hilarious image of Chryssalids basically raping a tank to death by punching the crap out of it with their giant claws, because that's how they mate.  And grinning and lolling madly the whole time.

 I imagine if they ever grow civilized then handshakes and fist-bumps will be names of common sexual techniques, and that said gestures would have to be done through pelvic thrusts instead of with their hands.

 So imagine a civilization where they greet eachother through pelvic thrusts. Awesome.

 Alright, posting this here for three reasons:
 1. I want to test this out without making a thread and then realizing I can't do it.
 2. I figure most people will see this here, and it will be buried beneath posts about WD's feed soon enough. By the time he gets back up I'll have my own thread anyway.
 3. People who have worked with this program have definitely seen this. They will likely be here.

I had a plan to draw an awesome picture for this Chrysalid hands-genetalia thing.

Unfortunately, i can't draw for shit.

It was going to be a Video box with "Fistbump 2.0" and two chrysalid's claws bumping with all pixelyness over it. And also other random hand related things. Basically what chrysalid pornogoraphy would have been.

If someone else can draw it, you are a better Man/Woman than I.
