argh!!!

Kobolds are what they wish to be. Just that their size limits their Strength and it makes them alot more fearful of things. I see them as evil little tricksters. Whose tactics for fighting is almost always to ambush with cruelly barbed spears and arrows tipped with the deadliest poisons they could find in their dark caverns they live in as homes.

Cute?.... Not on Armok's watch..... Not on Armok's Forge!!!

They don't have cruelly barbed spears.

They have daggers stolen from humans and makeshift bows.

And also they are slightly dumb. But loveable.

Or at least that's the way I see them.

They don't have tails in their raws though. Still, being smaller than both Dwarves and Goblins at something like 2 or three feet tall, they could certainly seem rodentlike.

Small grey rodentlike lizards, like cute anthromorphic cygnonathids.

I assume size 7 is about 5'10" to 6'.

so gnomes would be more like 9".

Yea, I kind of see them as a blend of reptillian and mammalian, but definetly not cute.

I don't see them cute because [EVIL] and [BONECARN].

I find it disturbing that a All God of Blood who made carp the metal biting tail whiping bastards they are. To know that same God made a worthless pile of carp feed many people depect them as.

Why can't they just look like they did in Armok I or Kobold Quest?

Huh?...

Is this forum about social life of the races or anything?

Alright let me see. Goblins

At first glance goblins seem like weak pathetic creatures who are incapable of forming a structured society but nothing could be further from the truth. The Goblins society is structured in such a way that natural selection takes place naturally and strong leadership is born from the Bloodshed and even peasant goblins can be dangerous. From this strong leadership does their society form.

Goblin society is entirely based upon a might makes right principle and the leader of any goblin society is usually the strongest goblin available making them a force. They are by far the least xenophobic of the five staple races adopting many creatures into their folds. As well any creature who proves they can match or best a goblin can easily climb the ranks even becoming leaders, this makes them very prone to have Megabeast or Powers as leaders. They also have a facination with the other races and will adopt, as their hopeful champions or as pets, the kin of the other races.

In terms of technology goblins demonstrate a level of archtecture far above the five staple races and are able to mass produce obsideon. Despite their use of Iron they have the technology to use both Adamantine and steel. Their Dark Fortresses are a horror to behold and difficult to siege.

In War goblins prefer loose organisations of units and attack immediately with hopes of gaining the glory of battle the others do. Goblins also have a chance of becoming enraged becoming an even more dangerous opponent. Their use of Trolls in sieges has allowed them to have living seige engines in battle.

Not much else is known about the Goblins at this time

In other words, goblins are frigging frightening.

I don't see them cute because [EVIL] and [BONECARN].

Check the ethics for behavior, not the [EVIL] tag. That just determines where they live.

[BONECARN] just makes 'em a little more doglike.

Here're their ethics:

Code: [Select]
ETHIC:KILL_ENTITY_MEMBER:PUNISH_EXILE]
[ETHIC:KILL_NEUTRAL:ACCEPTABLE]
[ETHIC:KILL_ENEMY:ACCEPTABLE]
[ETHIC:KILL_ANIMAL:ACCEPTABLE]
[ETHIC:KILL_PLANT:ACCEPTABLE]
[ETHIC:TORTURE_AS_EXAMPLE:UNTHINKABLE]
[ETHIC:TORTURE_FOR_INFORMATION:NOT_APPLICABLE]
[ETHIC:TORTURE_FOR_FUN:ACCEPTABLE]
[ETHIC:TORTURE_ANIMALS:UNTHINKABLE]
[ETHIC:TREASON:UNTHINKABLE]
[ETHIC:OATH_BREAKING:NOT_APPLICABLE]
[ETHIC:LYING:NOT_APPLICABLE]
[ETHIC:VANDALISM:NOT_APPLICABLE]
[ETHIC:TRESPASSING:NOT_APPLICABLE]
[ETHIC:THEFT:NOT_APPLICABLE]
[ETHIC:ASSAULT:PERSONAL_MATTER]
[ETHIC:SLAVERY:UNTHINKABLE]
[ETHIC:EAT_SAPIENT_OTHER:UNTHINKABLE]
[ETHIC:EAT_SAPIENT_KILL:UNTHINKABLE]
[ETHIC:MAKE_TROPHY_SAME_RACE:UNTHINKABLE]
[ETHIC:MAKE_TROPHY_SAPIENT:UNTHINKABLE]
[ETHIC:MAKE_TROPHY_ANIMAL:UNTHINKABLE]

They're very childlike. They don't treat each other badly, or make trophies of the dead. They don't have an ethical stance on theft because they consider everything theirs, much like young children. The KILL tags mean they defend of course, and hunt for food.

The TORTURE_FOR_FUN certainly indicates childlike behavior to me. (Well, for little boys at least).

EDIT: Also, note their stance on OATH_BREAKING or TORTURE_FOR_INFORMATION. They don't have one. They're not bright enough to have oaths or seek information.

(I just like to think of them as adorable, honestly)

Dogs chew on bones Kobolds Goblins Beak dogs and everything else they eat bones

I don't see why not some kobold tribes can choose to accept slavery or choose to keep a trophy.

As currently all humans can only Accept slavery even if their religeon is seems to be against it.
