Do Goblins only eat meat?

I've got a Goblin version of Dwarf Fortress working and before I start I would like to know if there anything I should know before I embark proper.

I've seen stuff about Goblin Planters when looking Goblin towers in Legends, so based on that I'm gonna say no.

Could be wrong, though.

Goblins don't have the Strand Extractor job available by default. I can't remember whenter they can farm underground plants, but they can certainly eat them, and I'm pretty sure they have above ground farming, at least. I also can't remember whether goblins have the Mechanics job available, so there's a chance you'll never be able to make levers, wells or traps. Other than those, you shouldn't find any surprises.

Except all the names will be like "Usbu Tortureincest" or something like that.

Strand Extractor has nothing to do with food.

I know they eat bones. You can check your version of the raws and see if they have the CARNIVORE tag.

But nothing needs to eat to survive at this point, except for the playable race.

Goblins can eat anything, including bones. They can NOT farm however. Harvesting wild plants should be possible, though.
