Yeah, really disliking the bright backgrounds. I'll stick with DFG18 for now.

I don't really like blend terrain but i still use DFG19 with Mayday2.png tileset.

I like it (even the background). I would suggest 2 little things. (I can do them myself, but I am not sure how transparency works now)

1) Changing door design a bit - now you virtualy can not see the color of doors, they are all grey with little colorful corners

2) With graphics on, the tileset sprite for dwarf is used only when dwarf dies, right? Then why there is not generic dead dwarf but generic dwarf in generic state?

Visual Fortress v0.802 and Dwarf Therapist v0.3.1 eh?
Already have it.
You probably forgot to remove it while packing...

and for some reason it's all pink instead of transparent :(

Because it's also used in adventure mode (when a dwarf is out of your line of sight).

I didn't mean that the background was necessarily bad, just bad for me. I tend to play in a dark room, and it was much too bright for me.

Background was actually really nice BUT it doesn't have enough contrast and it is hard to play with it.
Beautiful but not useful.

Download is back to 5.9 MB, if anybody worried.  Dwarf Therapist is neat though.

Edit: Looks like there are some pre-defined macros now too.

Does 40d16 have the same OGL problems with 40d11?

I'm using DFG16 at the moment (40d), since the newer ones give me the OGL error.

Does this post: http://www.bay12games.com/forum/index.php?topic=39456.msg749618#msg749618 fix the problem?

Could someone merge DFG## with Civilization Forge mod please? I've tried but all names have some weird shit in them and tileset is screwed up.
Or maybe there is a mod that add some more races AND that work with DFG.

P.S. Mike, could you also upload RAW folders and data/art only in later releases? Some people use Mac and to install DFG## on mac you have to download it and manually merge all necessary files (and you have to know what to merge and what not). If you want i can send you DFG20 for mac, ready to play.

Hm, after the openGL releases are merged with the main DF, I'm planning to switch to just releasing the proper folders for you to overwrite with.
Until then, the mac and linux people are going to have to copy stuff on their own as making a separate copy for each version would be just a bit too much hassle for me.
