Multiple civs... one creature
« on: September 09, 2009, 04:35:45 am »

is it possible to have multipl entities use the same creature file? or do I have to make many copies of the creature just to have differing civs with human fighting human...
(...and would the civs interbreed if they are the same species?)

that would be cool. I have a Mafia dwarf mod I'm working on, and it'd be nice to be able to use the same creature file for both.

Really calls for a test.
Should be possible to see when a civ conquers another civ.

I was thinking more when I kept pits full of captured invaders (I like doing that, then the legends say that their siege lasted 10 years or whatever). But I like being able to test it without wading through a lot of fortress mode gameplay.

I tried a test, but I can't make heads nor tails of the Legends... it almost seems as if there were no wars! Lots of Megabeast attacks, though.

But that can't be right, because towns and cities changed hands between civs all over da place. I am confused now.
