Oh God yes.  A few years ago, while trying to cram a 5000 word essay into twelve hours of work, I managed to twist myself into such a Gordian knot of stress and panic that I started seeing these... I'm not sure what to call them, except they looked like people made of lines and angles.  And they wanted to kill me.

It was more or less like having a dream while still sort of awake.  The problem was, I could still see it in dim light.

I tried that with my term paper in high school.

It murdered me. 60 pages in a week is not doable.

You had to write 60 pages for a paper in high school?  Did they hire their teachers out of the asylum or something?

Alternately: The Brick Testament. It's a really fun look at what the bible would look like if interpreted literally. With Legos.
Just so I remember

It was the final paper, so it's justified. :D

Heh, same like me.

Except I must also presentate them to Professors. In MIDDLE SCHOOL.

:P Of course, I chose Islam: The Differences between Shi'ites and Sunni, so I was good. (lulz to those who try to use a scientific problem... Hard, they are)

Regarding earworms, I had a very annoying one with the supermario land theme from the old gameboy back when I was 16. I spent an hour paranoid about having someone in the back of the class playing it.

The problem is that it's a very sticky song...

I fail to see how it's justified.

Yeah...  You're gonna have to go into some detail about that.

However, I did once cram a 20 page paper, from No Research to Crappy First Draft in about four days.

Earworms... hmm, there's barely any point in listing examples, is there?  Especially the anime section...

I fail to see how it's justified.

It was the culmination of half a year's worth of work. However I only got down to writing it in the last week before submission. I'd spent the rest of the time gathering research.

Eh, I do sometimes leave things to the last minute.  Being in secondary school, however, this is rarely a problem.

I think I'm hallucinating, and I see a procrastinator.. oh wait, that's a real procrastinator!

/bad joke

That must have been the most furiously written series of papers your teacher ever saw.

It wasn't very well written, come to think of it.  :D

However I managed to defend it, which is why I graduated.
