The castle probably has a little less than 100 men. The besiegers probably have several hundred. I don't know because I'm pretty far away.

I'd say follow the king, as your likely to gain many more castles/villages/towns then if you backtracked around the country to that castle, also, if you could name the next companion you get x2, that'd be great.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Probably should have mentioned this, but King Ragnar's army with me is only about 260 units. About enough to take one castle.
Alright, I'm flipping a coin.
I'm going with Ragnar

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
As luck would have it, we pass by Alburq Castle anyway. But King Harlaus's army well out-numbers ours.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
We manage to pick someone out of the group.
x2 levels up.

King Ragnar decides that I'm free.

I'd like to claim the next companion.

Put me in whatever you think would work best.

I suspect you've never tried doing many illegal things yet in your game. The second the CCS knows you're "active", they'll come down on you like the hammer of God.

I help a damsel in distress and challenge Lord Dirigun of the Nords to a duel
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I defeat him easily. Maybe he should have gotten a horse?

True. I'd like a companion as well. Name him Quibble, and he needs one different piece of unmatching heavy armor for every piece. He must also wield the biggest axe you can find.

That's what you meant by unmatching right? He's wearing a great helmet too, you just can't see it.

Strangely, that's not what I meant at all, yet it's somehow much better. Fantastic!

Keep my skills so that I get faster, and more powerful with axes. That goes for attributes too.
