Dean Koontz's "Dragon Tears" forever put me off raves. I probably read it at just a bit too young an age.

What was it about?

The book was about a psychotic mutant with the ability to create and control golems as well as manipulate the flow of time in an extremely cliche'd manner, but that's not the point; the point is, at one point (heh) in the book, said golem is chasing our heroes through a rave (whilst time is frozen for all but the antagonist and protagonists) and pauses briefly to rip the arm off of one of the ravers. It was described so interestingly that it has stayed fresh in my mind as one of those things I am childishly afraid of.

ALSO: Rashilul, is that one of those corpses that doesn't rot? I heard something about that.
