This small town has faced problems that no town should ever face. It is unclear when those that call themselves the Mafia first came, perhaps they were always there somehow. It is only recently, however, when their presence became known. It's clear many of them lie hidden among the populous, but one, Dakarian, stood out as their 'frontman'. He was feared, hated, but could never be pinned for any crime. He demanded 'protection money' from businessmen, paid off politicians, and harassed the police. Still, he and his cronies were tolerated.
A few nights ago, the local police station exploded. The following night, the major hospital joined it. We may have many who worked in both services still around but they are in hiding and most left the town. This was the last straw for the people. Yesterday, Dakarian was pulled from his home and, without trial or judge, was hanged near the town square. The group responsible called themselves the Townspeople for Freedom.
Now, the group meets again, yet with almost all of their members missing. Everyone speaks about a note attached to their door with the words, “"We are among you. The next time we come here, you will die." Only a few brave members return. It is clear that the Mafia infiltrated this group somehow. Knowledge of the group suggests that there may be two of them. One of you offer a desperate solution: find out the spies and hang them! Although crazy, the alternative is to wait and die.
So begins the first day of this horrible scene. The decision of who to lynch will be decided by vote.
The day will end on Wednesday, 10th Noon EST.
