well, no, he is right on that. Correlation alone doesn't imply causation. Among other things you have to prove the temporal sequence.

EDIT: in fact, in the current subject being discussed, a famous epidemiologist (I think it was Fisher, but I am not sure) was paid by tobacco companies to try to discredit the studies linking it to cancer, and tried it by switching around the temporal order. Needless to say he was debunked eventually.

Speaking of cracked, they had a recent article that had a most interesting scene painted in one of their images.

 Is this allowed on sites like this? Is this even allowed in Japan? Is this allowed anywhere? I've seen some bad images out there, but nothing quite so graphic. Even just two colors depicts the blood in detail much closer than anybody needs to see. And are those broken bones? What the heck are those? I don't think the biology of any of the things in there supports that. Not even the tentacle demons.
