You Attempt to wall it up, but when you look around it seems the bloody Kobolds took the rock with them when they ran away! You then run like no dwarf has ever ran before (6) and run back towards the source of the air, as you run you can see a red glow behind you, in your panic you run straight out and into an under-ground river. Unable to swim you frantically panic, a few minutes later you are pulled from the water by a giant.  He looks at you then sees the crown, when he does he bows to you then walks away, pushing a boulder into the entrance as he goes.  After he leaves, some random urge strikes you and you try to attain godhood (6) and after a few minutes you can feel yourself gaining spiritual power, however it isn't godhood, you feel as if you may have some magic now!

North:Boulder blocking path
East:Wall
West:Under-ground river
South:Wall
What do you do?

Shouldn't that trance limit become one battle left? An avoided battle should count as a battle anyway.

I second that, practice until you're at least novice god.

Oh and no, I don`t count an avoided battle as a count on the cool-down of trances.  Only in a battle where blood is spilled, counts.

On the other hand, we might get to choose. I recommend teleporting in and mugging an elven child.

A. No you don't get to choose, I roll and pick according to the roll.
B. Teleportation is really dangerous and would most likely kill you on anything but a 5 or 4, and as such I don't recommend doing it till we are a high level.
C. For the purposes of summoning your gonna be teleporting enemies in unless otherwise specified.

You concentrate on summoning foes for a good old-fashioned dwarf brawl. (5-1=4) two goblins appear, they are armed with daggers and cloth, and look very pissed.

Teleport your copper daggers into their skull.

If that fails, attack with pick.

P.S. If the teleport was successful, the goblins would probably have to make some sort of really high savings throw to live. Like 5 for moderate wounds and 6 for slightly damaged.

you attmept to teleport your daggers into their skulls (2) however nothing happens, infuriated you attack with your pick instead (6) you do an epic spin, as you spin the daggers fly from your pocket, embedding themselves in (1) the wall on the other side of the river. How ever (6) the pick swings towards it's target.  The goblin (1) was way  to distracted by your ballerina act, and was hit square in the chest by the pick, (1) however the pick doesn't stop and rips straight through killing it instantly.  The other goblin (6+1=7) catches the pick with it's bare hand, then throws you against the wall.  You (2) are smashed into the wall and (5) manage to avoid any damage.  You climb to your feet then (1) puke the rum back up, (6) however it manages to catch fire as you spew, and cover the goblin in burning puke. the goblin (1) runs around for a few seconds before burning to death.
Puke-flames spell gained (use once every 3 battles)
Trance cooled down by one
