I also have Blood Bowl for the PC now.  It seems like it could be fun, but the dice are just as shy as Vassal.  Having a troll attack a human lineman with two supporting Orkz and getting Attacker Down for every result is enough to make me start lashing out at bystanders.

Also, accidentally closing the game and losing a match where you killed two opponents in a campaign.

Okay seriously, I'm not one for whining about dice, but I'm very quickly losing my patience.  It doesn't help that the computer  mocks you the whole way.
I also am playing Orks. he is one piece of advice.

Rerolls. Lots of them.

And first chance you get, give the Black Orc Blockers block. They need it.

I know good players make their own luck.  I do make my own luck, but then the other team takes my luck, that I made all by myself, and smashes it, saying "Aww baby wanna bottle?" and kicking sand in my face.  The joke'll be on him though when I lose my patience and obliterate every trace of this game from my hard drive.  That, or when the dice finally warm up to me and I start winning.

Seriously, I was just winning 2-1 in a playoff game and the opposing team just started getting 6s.  He scored two touchdowns in like three turns.  Every pass perfect, dodged everything, knocked my guys down.

I just want to stomp on something right now.

I realized my problem.  I should've been playing humans, since humans are good all-around and I'm still learning.

I didn't because I couldn't think of a theme (My Orkz are all very Orky, my dwarves are DF, my Chaos were all really scary names [Mor'guul, Eater of Flesh; Varakk the Skulltaker; and the like] except one guy named Steve).

I thought of a theme.  They're The Manly Men, and all have super-manly Space Mutiny names:  Blast Hardcheese, Gristle McThornbody, and the like.

Take a chaos spawn as blocker! ;)

Better yet, use space mareens for humans, that way at least it will be on-topic. :)

Anyhow got me a LegionoftheDamned Heavyflamer marine today which I'll be filing details off for several weeks, so it will be ready to recieve wolfywoof totems.
Hopefully next week I'll be able to score some guardsmen or cadians for their flamers...the men themselves can collect dust for several months or years untill I get to building a Nurgle zombie apocalypse army. Zombies don't like fire anyhow. :)

Buildin' up my 'Ard boyz.

Riot shields look pretty damn cool, and you can't mistake them for anything else :D

Additionally, my Nobz will all be Pimps. Those guys are rich, or so i've heard.

Oh.  Em.  Eff.  Jee.

I think someone passed out mittens to all the players this game.  My thrower failed to catch the kickoff.  He failed to pick it up.  He failed to pick it up again.  The other team failed to pick it up.  Thrower picked it up, threw it one square.  Enemy Blitzer gets it, runs to the endzone and gets tackled.  The ball bounces among four guys of various teams, every single one misses it except my Blitzer, who grabs it just as the half ends.
