I'm trying to create a fast attack army with 500 points. Is this doomed to failure? I can only take 13 bikes, counting my warlord, and the rest are Gretchins.

Behold! Failure!

You watched your Orks get shot to death the last game, so your answer is fewer and/or weedier models?

Gimme a minute and I'll do ya a few better.

Fewer and weedier models that go much faster and have a permanent 4+ cover save.

But basically yeah.

A 500 point loldar jetbike army is better in terms of both mobility and firepower. Orks are for LOL ORK SPAM.

Anyone up for a 1000 point game? I've written up several new army lists in the couple of days I've been unable to stay up till some ungodly hour to play, and there are a couple of those I actually have enough confidence in to want to play.

I figured it'd be futile, and rather frustrating. I hate designing 500 point armies.

I'd be up for a 1000pt game - but I'd need a 30 minute or so break in the middle for dinner. I've got an army all prepared and everything.

Yo Jackrabbit, I've got an Ork list for you.  This might work for getting you into combat faster and winning and stuff.  Also, the whole army rides in vehicles, which is just cool.

Spoiler: 499 Points of Wheelz (click to show/hide)

Obviously, the Mek rides in that one short-crewed wagon and tries a burns stuff.  Good luck.

I'd drop 50 points worth of something to get a Kustom Force Field on that Mek.

Does he still provide a cover save when riding a trukk? Because if he does, those 10 boyz wont be gettin' shot any time soon.

Well, neruz's op toasters tore apart my army of slaaneshi daemons.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
And yes, I'm well aware you're supposed to mix daemons, and slaaneshi aren't meant to deep strike 10" from lolcron warriors and their beamy spam of die-before-you-can-fucking-move. It was hilarious, and compounded by an endless stream of horrible die rolls. Hell, I've even got a relatively well balanced (I think...) daemon army, I just thought that slaaneshi only would be funny. Which it was. Especially when the shrapnel from my exploding soul grinder lightly scratched the nearby necron lord.

Anyways, anyone else up for a game? Scratch that, it's 4am.

Holy crap lootas. 36 shots on a Dreadnought, 5 glancing, 2 penetrating. That thing was wrecked 3 times over.
