Could the Bay12 room be unlocked? I'd like to observe a game, just to see how it's done.

Why always me?

Cthulhu holds the keys to this room.

I've got to go for now, but I should be back in four or five hours, if anyone wants to play then. I don't have exams tomorrow, so I don't need to go to sleep at a reasonable hour. :D

Join the brood lord with the stealers They'll automatically get the effects of tendrils.
Get rid of bio plasma, adrenal glands, chiten and the mace tail on the fex.
Replace a pair of talons with crushing claws.

Well, First off NEVER GET HORMAGAUNTS.
They are a complete waste of points.
Sell Them, get a new squad with WoD
You need more gargoyles for them to be good, like 30.
Tyrant is good.

Yeah I was planning to join the broodlord with the stealers as that way they can also infiltrate together. What would be the best thing to do with the points gained from removing the Fex's biomorphs? Moar stealers?

Haha yeah the tyrant gets 12 (6 WS, 5 strength) shots with the 2 devourers, gets to reroll to hit and reroll to wound. Was planning on escorting him with the gargoyles and having the warriors and gaunts attack in a separate group
What do you mean WoD? I still need my two troop broods so I assume you mean replace them with another brood of spinegaunts. Spend the rest of the points on moar gargoyles.

6 WS

You mean 4 BS.

And yeah, hormagaunts will serve almost exactly the same role as spinegaunts, only they'll be vastly more expensive and draw more fire due to being faster.

Personally, I've always preferred 'stealer-based armies, but that's only because of their insane damage potential. If you choose to use them, be careful not to get them all killed, as they're not all that durable.

Hmm I also don't understand why you would want to replace the 4 attacks the scything talons give with 1d6 attacks the more expensive crushing claws give.

12 shots? I dont think so. It goes off of ATTACKS, without biomorphs being counted in them.

Also, do not spend too much on Carnifex, but Do get +1 WS. I owned my buddies Carnifex on T2 with a Boss+ Nobz + some Boys, all WITHOUT Power Klaws

Yep. Double twin-linked devourers kill everything without much armour on.

I'm putting together an army list, so I might be available within a couple of hours.

I MIGHT be available in 45 minutes or so. In addition, once I've finished developing it, I'll put up a  of 500, 750 and 1000 pt armies I made for criticism.

Also, I don't think V40K comes with the latest Tyranid army bits - at the least, I couldn't find a broodlord in my quick scan. One of the factors in my decision to pick necrons.
