really?
Sounds more logical.

Last game I played in GW, it seemed that casualties were always removed from the rear. fantasy style. :)
It was very chaotic though, with 5 players per side and only 30' per side/turn.

edit: Oh yeah: Last night sculpted a wolfhead to be a rocket launcher, decided today to cut it and a standard (oldstyle metal) launcher in half horizontally and fit them together. The stick the head was sculpted on was not as wide as the launcher though, so There was some creative moulding to be done. I like how it turned out though. Yay! I'm an atrist! ;)

Also I was mostly in CC and most death by Area effect weaponry.

It's basically a virtual online tabletop suitable for WH40k. Though GW shut that down. However; Privateer Press reportedly helped the developers of the Warmachine Module for vassal.

Yeah.  It doesn't come with any rules, and doesn't do anything for you except making some of the dice rolls easier, so you still need the rulebooks and stuff, but otherwise it's an online version of the game.

Also, I figured out how scatter dice work.

So, it lets us move little model representations around?

And it has dice models and templates and such.  It's ostensibly for "battle reports".

Yes, let's reenact some "battle reports" later.

I'm game.

Does it support multiplayers? (As in, more than two)

Yes.

I haven't finished reading the rules though, I'm still in the vehicle rules, so it'll be a while before I can play.

Yeah, probably.  I probably won't be able to play till tomorrow, since I'd also like to run a solo game or two to firmly grasp the rules in my hand.

5.2 is the one I'm using, and I believe it's the last one before they got the axe.  And yeah, regardless of the validity of the cease and desist, GW has enough money to bludgeon any small party they want into legal submission, so it doesn't matter.

Okay, hang on.  That link for a few posts back goes to a file called "vassal_40kmod_2_0_5" (a prepacked installer), but the file that i found on some forum is "v40k3-5-5", which looks like it would be newer.

I'm a little confused is what I'm saying.

This is the most recent version of the most popular Vassal 40k Module.  It's the one I use, and it's the one /tg/ uses.

Yeah.  I'm in the universal special rules section now, and I think I've almost got it.
