It is a collage from several images I found online.
A nice templar marine for the base.
An fine rendering of the sigil of the horned rat for the pauldron.
and a skaven head-studies for the mask.
couldn't find the names of original artists, or I'd have credited them.

Have several ballpoint sketches to the same effect, but have to get out of the house to use a scanner....I just realize i forgot to add the armoured/bladed tail. :duh:
This is much easier. :)

Ah, i notice the seams now.

On another note, has anyone done any interesting conversions on any models as of late?

I'll be posting my WarBuggy and WarTrukk when they have been finished, Sirs.

I'm just getting back into WH again after several years of smouldering...
last conversions were cave goblins to dark gnomes.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

got some darkangel guys with cloaks modded with power halberds...
my standard bearer is pretty neat too.

most of my earlier 40K mods were lost by theft though. :(

edit: added images, but they generally suck. my lighting conditions and focusing are horrendous.
edit: the halberd link seems to give access to the entire folder.

In gorkamorka etc orks have been stated as very hard to eradicate as their bodies sporulate and eventually adult orcs will emerge again from the ground.

My best guess would be for orcs/orks to have several reproductive cycles/methods. sexual through adult biped vertebrate greenskins and a base level fungal reproductive cycle. given the orc tendency for total annihilation warfare and the oldone/zoat warorganism theories, such a fallback option is only logical.

Just to drag up ork sex again; would it be too much to assume that Orcs and Orks do not function the same way?  Sure it's GW's modus operandi to copy/paste as much as possible, but it's not a stretch to think the Orks=Spores thing was invented for the sci-fi amenable setting of 40K.  Sure, the Rogue Trader books mention stuff like Ork families, but they're more like clans, with no mention of female Orks and several early hints of the sporing answer.

Bloodbowl of course, in addition to being on the Fantasy side, exists purely for shits and giggles, which an Orcish cheerleader supplies just fine.  Maybe they're just moobs.  Or the orky equivalent of moobs.  And while I'm here-

Me not understand your lingo?
His maw has been wacked off? You realise it is wearing a globadier gasmask?

I realize the posture is far to upright for a rattus astusdolosus and that the tail is missing altogether, but using only cut 'n paste from existing material I feel it turned out rather nice.

No no, you misunderstand.  I meant that clattering sound you heard was my gob flying away after you smacked it off with a cut'n'paste picture of a Skavenmarine.  Y'know, gobsmacked?  Eh...

Anyway, I'd love to post that picture over at /tg/ and see what happens.  Do you any objection to reuse of it?

I need a name for my Ork warband.

It's probably going to be a Bad moonz Offshoot, as they are a Shooty clan.

I've got a lot of Looted vehicles though...

Vehicle heavy Bad Moonz...  Da Glitznaga Pundururz?  Kaptin Gutzugog of the Bad Ship Notchorznow?

If they're going to be Bad Moonz, then the looted vehicles should have lots of pointless, orky decorations.  Try giving them chrome hubcaps, fart cans, and fuzzy dice.

Currently the theme is Conversions :P

Every Boy should be converted when i'm done. They are going to be Stompin' on some IG when i figure out a colour scheme for said IG, it's an Ash planet By The Way.

There's also the small problem of how the shit i'm going to be able to justify any eldar on Typheus IV. It's not like there's any warpgates or anything. I need some of their models for conversions :D)

Also, Qizzy. Da Glitznaga Plundururz sounds pretty gooood. Fuzzy Dice FTW!

Hydraulics, Christmas Tree Lights, Spinners with spikes, three exhaust pipes large enough to fit another guy on, another exhaust pipe for the front wheel itself, a gun attacked to the back for the express purpose of shooting to give you more acceleration...
