Alright, so, I have made zero progress in the last few months. I am ashamed of myself. My Orks are ashamed of me.
Well, if it makes you feel any better, I haven't even gotten around to getting the rulebook yet.

Yeah, Orkz really excel at line-shooting.  Get a whole bunch of Shoota Boyz, line them up, and mow down the enemy.

Try that with gretchin. They're better than orks at being shooty BS wise, and at 3 points per model, they're really worth it.

What? He's firing from the hip.

[flames removed - tt]

Grots are great, they may be pretty shit, but they are cheap and can be used as a screen for your High-Value units, or a tar-pit for a big critter, with a 30-man mob with three Runtherdz they can indefinately incapacitate, say, a bloodthirster.

(The Runtherdz use their Grabba stikkz to remove attacks from the Bloodthirster, meaning it can make about a single attack per turn, which, with even six grots, means it's totally out of commission without help.)

Are Deff Koptas anygood? I have a few.

I remember someone saying they were like soap bubbles that can go through vehicles like a hot knife through butter. You'll need a lot of them, and the enemy will have to have vehicles to make it worthwhile.

Gah, I haven't touched my Sisters in at least two months. I need to fix this tomorrow.

Sorry, I haven't been following this thread nor W40k, but I have a question: Do you play online or using the actual mini's?

Alright. I was about to start Blood Angels (sorry to disappoint, another Space Mariner...) before realising I must get a decent job before I would be able to afford this hobby. I then quit following W40k to avoid the temptation. What's the update on Blood Angels, have they got a new codex?

It should be noted that you can play online, using V40K. Just search for "vassal" on /rs/, I believe vassal40K comes packaged with vassal, will should update itself when you run it. You should also pickup the 5e tyranid modification for it, which adds the new tyranid pieces. Some people on here play with it, though I haven't seen mention of it in a few months, but it's also the most popular vassal mod, so there's always people in the lobby.

In fact, go back about 40 pages. Vassal took this thread by storm not too long ago.
