No, You didn't.

Anyway, as you've technically bought it, Jakkarra, you could get a copy from the internet.
But I would just turn it in if I were you...

Org for Russ' sake, just back down. You're not in the right here and you're really annoying me and, I'm willing to be, several others.

What? It doesn't put you in the right. I was simply responding to this.

Org, are you contuibuting to discussion? Saying anything meaningful? NOT going out of your way to annoy a fellow fourm goer? No?

Then keep it quiet dammit.
Org, don't just drop in to say 'fail'.
Sofia, you almost never add anything meaningful, so I think its best you keep quiet.

But...I had too.

without quoting it.

So what did I mean? I meant, claiming that since you believe Sofia does what you just did as well, you can do it or she can't claim you can't, is a fallacy. You did not need to drop in to say fail and then continue to contribute meaninglessly so don't. I'm glad you've already taken the first step towards this.

Well, if I know Org, he'll apologize for being rude and we can all move on like nothing happened.

Yes, I caused confusion by failing to quote, so, sorry. That's done with.

It's the being unfair to Sofia I'm referring too now.

Indeed, that outburst was uncalled for, Org.

Sofia is often a useful person to have in a discussion. Even if she dosent have any warhammer. I assume. Maybe.

Back to something relevant:
My recent purchases are still in Rotterdam 80km away from me.
I've also noticed White Dwarf is no longer available in local kiosks anymore, I still have to check the hobbystores carrying GW stock, so I can't say GW has stopped non-affiliated distribution for sure.

Who here makes terrain features?
I do and I'd like to know which WD issues have articles on this topic... preferably without resorting to expensive plastic stuff

The easiest way to make scenery is to purchase some Airfix (Or approximate) Kits and convert them to your theme.

For example, i am planning on purchasing a set of buildings from my local hobby store to be converted into some scenery for my Ash Wastes map.

hmm.
- that is what I meant with plastic purposemade stuff, but even more so.
- the scale of WH is too large for common model railroad standard size kits.
(and average size of models seem to be getting larger all the time!)
-too expensive for my tastes.

I like to use foamboard, carton and various recycled items.

A nomadic orc tent can be made from several sticks of wood , some PVA glue and papertowel.
adobe textured dwellings can be made by applying sandy/coarse all-purpose filler to a general squarish/rectangular building from foamboard, insert pieces of cocktail sticks indicating ceiling support.
Wooden huts can be made from for example short pieces of toiletpaper roll topped with a cone of carton
glue coctail sticks all over it. (use the PVA/papertowel technique to create a cloth door screen)
human wooden constructions require more effort, requiring the carving of planking from balsawood sheets, slate roofing tiles can be made from thin cardboard.

40K buildings require some bits of technological stuff generally, these are best bought in kit form.
