What's so bad about leaving them gray? I'm sure there can be some flavor reason why they decided to paint their armor all gray.

It's a shame there's no free internet version of either warhammer tabletop game. It'd let people try the game, or test out armies, without spending vast amounts of cash.
Silly copyright laws.

Yeah, but not even a non-GW thing, or even a thinly-veiled rip-off.
Which is strange in the world of the internets.

Hay, guys. Prepare to rage.

To quote from Wikipedia

It was revealed at Gamesday UK 2009 that Games Workshop was working with Codex pictures to produce a straight to DVD movie called Ultramarines .

Since I haven't even played my first game yet, I don't have all the ultramarine hate everyone else seems to have. And I'm quite interested in seeing a Warhammer movie.

But straight to DVD? MOTHER FUCKER.

It's directed by Uwe Boll, isn't it. It is. It has to be.

I bet one of the space marines will fall in love with another marine/a sister of battle/an Eldar. And we will told that we should feel sad because they can't be together.

I fear a lack of Grim Dark.

More likely we'll have arbitrary female and black marines for no explainable reason.

By the way, the company that's doing the movie is responsible for the Bionacle Lego movies.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Having watched their latest Bionicle movie (A Legend Reborn), I can say it isn't a bad thing. Their animation, while not Pixar quality, is pretty good. If they hire Dan Abnett for script writing or consultation (Ampresand suggested that one to me over a discussion) then we can look forward to something really awesome.

However, all we have to go on right now is a website and the identity of who is animating the CGI. Don't rage yet. Give it some time.

I still reserve the right to rage because it's about Ultramarines, but I hate them to begin with.
