Or Valkyrie, but I don't know.

Oh my God I just realized I can actually afford this hobby now.

I need to work up that enthusiasm again. First things first, redownload Vassal.

What they REALLY need, to be affordable, is for Games Workshop to make a partnership with Lego.

Lego make small model-like things on the cheap. Gamestop make small, detailed model-like things for a ton of money. Combined could be the best of both worlds.

Plus, you could swap out wargear with ease!

As a kid there was a huge issue for me in that I was of the age that I'd play around with toy soldiers with, and I did, with 40k figurines, with sound effects... and they did get broken, but I thought it was the most awesome thing in existence, now that I'm older I find it hard to disagree....
Anyway, if they had solid plastic, more durable and cheap equivalents I would have been very happy.

Wasn't there a tabletop rulebook around that used Lego pieces instead of detailed models?

Interestingly, Armok's name actually originates from arm_ok, a variable in one of Toady's earlier games that kept track of how many of your arms weren't missing.

Technically we aren't supposed to tell you.
Technically, I'm not supposed to tell you to search for them on PirateBay.org, after downloading BitTorrent or some such.
Technically.

Technically.

I don't use torrents, and technically it would just be a back up for the codex I am getting in about a year.
