This is what I've always feared.  More Imperial Guard.  All the Imperial Guard.  We'll do a campaign and it'll be me as Chaos with 5 IG players.

As much as I luv the Guard, I'm totally in flavor of playing something else.  Heck, I was actually eying the Eldar last time I browsed the books.  They've got some stupid-good guns.  Or heck, maybe Orks even.

Up to you, really. We could do it a lolrandum way, roll a d6 then x500.

As for IG, probably won't be using the gits. Well, unless another 2v2 comes along.

That has a potential of up to 3000 points, that'd be pretty crazy.  What'll you be using then?

I for one haet the guard.

But then, life was also easier when I was running around here pretending to be a man, so I guess I should just "man up" and get back to work.

It's on like Donkey Kong, whenever you're ready.  I'm setting up a 2000 point list now.

Where's the new vassal mod? I logged on with V40k 5.2, and it was empty, but the server connections shows just a "vassal 40k" mod with people connected... :-\

There's a new one?   Maybe they finally added some more Slaanesh and Tzeentch versions of stuff.

Anyway, my 2000 pointer is finished.  Tzeentch, with some Khornate mercenaries.

Confirmed, v5.4 is out with new Chaos Sprites.  Hells yeah.

Here

There's also a new version of Vassal.

Download page already points to an invalid URL.  I'm sure it's around somewhere else, I just felt like pointing out that out.

Whoops.

Yeah, there we go.  Question: There are rare weapons that can bypass Invulnerable saves.  If a Farseer is hit by such a weapon, does he simply have no armor save?

I'm think I'm gonna commit to this Eldar thing.  My tactical acumen is such that I can rock hardcore with even the fruitiest armies.

Presumably.

Jetbikes are insane. Jetbikes and fire prisms. Fuck everything else the loldar have, none of it's as awesome as jetbikes and fire prisms.

Here

There's also a new version of Vassal.
Wow, they've actually got a static site up for it now? It'll probably be shut down by more illegal cease and desist letters from GW, but it'll be nice while it lasts.
