So I was thinking, you know what'd be cool, maybe after the tournament?

A Bay12 campaign, with the planetary empires rules thing.

I'm totally on board.  However, I'd like to point out that if you want characterful armies and campaign persistence, GorkaMorka has you covered in style.

Yes I'm pitching it pretty hard.  If you read over the book, you'd be pitching it too.

I'll get around to it, but you know it'd be awesome.  Even more awesome if we had multiple planets, and pulled out the planet strike rules too.  Some seriously intense stuff.

Okay, fun game Neruz. Less hate towards the STUPID GODDAMN Necrons now. Aaand I didn't lose by too much. I'll remember what you said about model placement.

Ooh, if we're running a campaign i am totally in for planning that shit out. I've got like 300+ pages of campaign content from previous stuff i helped run down at my local GW, there's some great stuff in here, like convoy protection missions and last stands and soforth.

I would be all over this but I need more time to get used to my Ork army.

You would do well to consider this timeless bit of wisdom straight from the mouth of Rotgob, one of the most brilliant Ork Strategists of all:

"Get 'em boyz!  Dakka dakka dakka!  WAAAGH!  THE ORKZ!  WAAAGH!"

No opinions on my IG?

Also thinking about getting rid of the first Leman and the sponsons on the second, for three Hydras.

Vassal itself is completely legal.  Playing Warhammer for free with it?  Yes, no, maybe so. Redistributing v40k? Yes, since it's fair use, but risky since Games Workshop has hordes of lawyers on hand to laugh at your legal rights.
Fixed.

Also, up for a game now.

Yes, those splatters are my guys. I learned a very important thing today.

Positioning your army so that only one group can get into an assault, but so that both are in rapid fire weapons range, is a baaaaaad idea, one I should have seen coming.

Noted. Anyone up for a 500 or 750 pt game? I need to check if my armies are any good.

Every derp move makes you a stronger player, provided you learn from it.  I don't know how many times I put my HQ in the path of the enemy guns, knowing he was a priority target, before it occurred to me that I should use cover and stuff, maybe.
