Heh. Playing a few games on my lonesome, I occasionally make a few mistakes.

Like when my Captain, with Str8 (thanks, powerglove!) got into close combat with about 14 boys, I mixed up strength and toughness and they ended up not landing a hit and falling back.

I like to think he just pointed at them with his massive powerfinger and glared and they all started edging backwards.

Also charged a Ironclad Dreadnought into their ranks (at that point they were about 20 strong) and they wasted it with three incredibly well placed grenades.

Anyone up for a game tommarrow? I've read through the rulebook and am looking through the tau codex now. So ye know I'm GMT-3.

I'll see what happens.

Hey, I have a question. When a unit is falling back, it says it can't rally if it's below half strength.

Does this mean half the amount of units you had at the start? And if it does, does that mean that if you lose over half of your men and begin to fall back, your unit's as good as gone?

If the unit itself has suffered more than 50% casualties. Of course, there are a number of things that allow them to regroup anyways, depending on the army. Special characters and abilities and whatnot.

I sort of want to play a game now, but that'd take a couple of hours at least, and it's already late. D:

I probably won't be online early enough to play, but that varies quite a bit.

Well then that rules me out. I'm still VERY shaky on rules, but I'm getting there. The Rulebook is MASSIVE.

What I mean is, if it suffered 50% casualties last turn, or since the start of the game?

Most of it isn't rules, but fluff, or painting tutorials.

Only the first 100 pages are rules, including the special ones.
The most useful pages are right at the back, the references.

I'll play, if you haven't found someone yet. I've got a good grasp on the rules after obsessively referencing them while putting together random army lists for the fun of it. I'll just stop if it gets too late.

If ye mean play now I think I'm nearly done with my list.
edit: a 500 point list.
