Yeah, wasting my HQ was a pretty derp move, I should've checked to see what kind of Armament vendettas had.  I didn't have anything that could deal with those at range, I was really expecting more Akigagak's style of a big horde of infantry with heavy weapons.

And artillery, now that I've got rid of the f**king useless valkyrie.

Deepstrikes in, proceeds to miss WITH GODDAMN EVERYTHING, and gets one-shotted by a bloody singing spear.

Alright, derped my HQ to death again, forgot my guys had bolt pistols and could've assaulted the ironclad with autohit krak grenades to rear armor, but I'm learning.

If it is in the rules, I think it will be in the rapidfire section or the one for assaulters/scouts.
(shooting+assauting too)

I'm fine with losing due to stupid mistakes, which is what's been getting me, but the die rolls make me raeg.  Hit his entire squad with two flamers and like 8 bolt pistol rounds.  Did no damage at all.  wat

SSIINDRIIIII

Lost my Predator's lascannon and two wounds on HQ in first turn.  Come on, dice.  Don't be douchebags.

I've mentioned that I hadn't played Warhams in a long time.  While trying to psych myself up to get back into the game and trying to decide an army to commit myself (and my money) to, I fell pray to the "MathHammer" effect.  Basically, rationalizing army choices based on the "statistical likelihood" of your die rolls.

Disappointing fool's errand.  There's a reason the game is played with dice.  You never know what they'll do.

Chaos lord just wiped my command squad, and two wounds on commander.
Bastard didn't run this time, so I can't use the many heavy weapons to shoot the lord.

Going by Duke in the program, and apparently using version 2.0.5. This does not appear to be compatible for some reason. I have to press the 'open all connections' button to see you guys currently playing Metal vs Smackhead.

Yeah, my Khornate Chaos Lord (With bloodfeeder) and my khorne berzerkers are in melee now.  Arms and legs are flying all over.

Alright, seems the V40k site no longer distributes it. I'll have to find it from other sources.

And by a few, he means like 25.  It's one of my posts, link to Megaupload I believe.

And yeah, the Chaos Lord died to the Bloodfeeder, but he still killed the better part of two squads.

looking at it now JR should of got at least 5 more marines.

Oh well it was still a closish game.

Also give someone a game, PM me (In Vassal) as I'll be trying to get some Immigrantes in my current fort.

Really? I think 5 marines is the minimum you can have, and 10 boys is also the minimum.

750 point game with Akigagak ended with a draw.  It was a capture points game, and neither of us went for the capture points.  Ended with 4 Khorne Berzerkers, a Skull Champion, and a Blastmaster Noise Marine vs. a Company Commander and a colossus.
