Derp.  They didn't list it like a regular ability, but stuck it in a paragraph that I didn't bother to read.  Who does that?  All abilities should be in bold and listed in top-to-bottom format, not hidden.

Oh well, Space Marines lost anyway.  They killed all the hormagaunts that went after them, then the Hive Tyrant killed most of the marines.  The Dreadnought killed the Hive Tyrant, but couldn't bring down the Carnifex before it went all smashy on him.  Carnifex got 5 Penetrating hits on him in the first round, and that was even after I misread his entry and listed his strength as 6.

Dayum.
Yeah, although you only had a 50% chance of penetrating...

I found flamers rock as well. :D
Previously most my opponents let the game devolve into shootouts.
On tables with plenty of scenery though, flamers rule!

As soon as I get a codex, I'll put together a Furious Claw army. :)
Can ye put the entire army into droppods, or do the rules require X value of core troops to be deployed by the traditional forced march method?

Finished filing off the bones and flames from a nice Legion of the Damned marine with a bionic arm.
Phew! My hands hurt.
Gave him several wolftails and a (I think) mkIV helmet snout I saw someone else do.
Still need to do something with his right pauldron as I couldn't remove the moulded skeleton in hell emblem completely....maybe solid with studs as early beakies had. But that was usually on the left pauldron. :/
hmm.
This is fun. :)

Short game of tyrranid there BTW... less than 10'.

It was a very Orky nid army.  No ranged weapons at all, just lots and lots of chop and smash.

It may not have been right, I deleted the list when I thought I didn't have a Synapse, and the Carnifex had a whole bunch of upgrades and such.  I dunno.  Tyranids are complicated.

Lets smash some heads, Cthulhu, set up a game while I cram the rulebook.

Anyone else want to join in?

If it's not legal, I hope the threads not locked.

I need this as a showcase for how noobish I am!

... Christ, I just used the word 'noobish'.

About 5 minutes into this, I've decide to get rid of my tank for the battle, and am going to replace it with LASCANNONS.
