Sure seems like Europeans out-donating Americans around here.

I blame the economy.  ;)

You know that whole "don't shop when you're hungry" principle?

I'm going to donate whilst in the throes of new-version glee. God save my wallet.

Is it possible to just mail cash money to him, or will the customs officials steal it? I should look into this "PayPal" phenomenon and see if I could utilize it.

Unless you're a suspected criminal, they have no right to look in your mail. Paypal would be easier though.

Aww, how naive.

I agree with Urist. Steampunk is like Darth Vader winning Holland's Next Top Model. It would be awesome but not something I'd like in this game.

Don't customs officials pretty much exist for the purpose of going through other people's stuff looking for drugs and tax frauds? I was under the impression that they are allowed to tear stuff open as they see fit, as long as they put it all back if they find no crime. I'm more worried it might be against some weird-ass regulation to mail money.

Also, I'm foreign, which might be considered treason.

It's much, much more likely that a postman will just reach in and steal it at some point, to be honest.

I think transferring more than $10,000 dollars without a license is a federal offense in the states ("Money handling"). However there are people who snail-mail money to online stores they trust, so I'm sure a donation would be no different.

Anyway, I don't think they'd bat an eye at an envelope with a small amount of money (less than $1000). PayPal is still probably safer though, I've had money-free letters lost before.

A check would be preferable if at all possible, though honestly money will go through 99% of the time.
