It occurs to me that there is a disappointing lack of Battletoads on the list.

No kidding. Terra didn't make the list, despite recruiting the strongest warriors from the far corners of two worlds to defeat an army of magic robots and a psychotic, genocidal, godlike, reality-warping, world-rending clown. Frogger made the list. His claim to fame? Crossing the road.

ya that kirby and pacman one is really close. But man they have some overlypopular main stream characters going against obscurer ones which I think is wierd and semi unfair, pit the mainstream vs mainstream and stuff for a bit to give the obscurer ones a chance.

I think they want the big matchups to come later.

And yeah, seems to me people vote based on which game they liked more rather than the heroics of the character.

And I wonder if they were planning for master chief to overwhelmingly destroy Bub & Bob? I've never played Bubble Bobble (and I only dabbled in Bust-A-Move) but I still think they have more panache.
