He thinks he may be banned for making the 'Aquizzar' account. :-[

I hope he won't be.

Neither do I, but I think this is more along the lines of that battle fortress incident.

One day, we shall all look back on this, and laugh. Sorry about the face, by the way, and the legs, and the eyes, and the arms. In fact, sorry 'bout the whole body.

That was more large-scale and Toady didn't ban Inaluct for it. (yes, I know I wasn't around for it, but I looked around in VN)

Anyway Toady said he would ban someone if they were maliciously impersonating another forumite, there wasn't any malice in what Toony was doing.

Toady did say in that thread that he would be banning dupe accounts that were used for abuse, and neither Toony's Aquizzar account or my 3 post Aqizzar account were used for abuse; merely for some light entertainment.

If Toony was running around with the account posting objectionable material and porn all over the forums then i'd expect him to be bannerated, but he wasn't. It's all been in good fun so far and banning Toony would be a pretty big overreaction on Toady's part.

It also seems unlikely, as Toady appears to be one of the few people who actually understand that laws and rules are meant to be applied along with, not in defiance of, common sense.

He also knows when things are getting out of hand and does something about it, despite no explicit rule against it.

So yeah, Toonyman should be safe.

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

I'd feel terrible if I (indirectly) got Toonyman banned.

Because I have no idea what it has to do with the thread topic or the current discussion.
