I'm American. However, because I live in California, I don't have a particular accent with absurd qualities. No southern drawl. No east coast nasal. No midwest silly talk. Just laid back Californian. But, I do find british accents - especially London-type to be pretty adorable. Especially in Girls.

Hmm. It isn't as annoying as it could be, although I've never met an American accent I like, at least there are a few I don't hate. I want a Russian on DFtalk 3, russians are awesome :D

Ever since one of my best friends was from Brazil I have fallen inlove with a male Brazillian accent. Lets have one of those!

Even better, let's get Mexican!

Zironic, how can you say that London accents are adorable? I know of at least three, and all of them sounds nasty. Cornish, Devon and Scottish accents are the best of British, but if you want a laugh go for Welsh :D I don't think I have an accent, but that's just because everyone around me has the same one.

I think the best American accent has to be whatever accent Reginald D. Hunter has. His voice is so awesome, and he definitely has an accent but it's relaxing and smooth.

I think I might be gay for Mr D. Hunter :D

But then again, I guess it's like Patrick Stewart. Everyone has a man-crush on Patrick Stewart, and if they don't, it's because they're a woman, and thus have a woman crush on him.

I agree with Urist. Steampunk is like Darth Vader winning Holland's Next Top Model. It would be awesome but not something I'd like in this game.

Well, as a not-brit, all my experiences with british accents come from the television. I quite like the accent of Rose from Dr. Who, and Gwen from Torchwood.

Southern accents I find to be very hit-or-miss; on one person it's "Ugh thanks for drowning your words in cheap moonshine you hick" and on another it fits perfectly and only adds to person.

Being a Scot, I'm slightly out of place with my total non-accent among th' rest o' mah haverin' peers.

I actually don't have an accent at all, it's quite odd; but I suppose that's what happens when your father's Australian, your mother's Scottish, your Grandmother is English and your other Grandmother is Irish.

British here.  You'd probably enjoy my accent, but I'm a terrible interviewer.

No east coast nasal.
Wait, what?

Indeed, Brazilian accents are likely the only accent on earth manly enough to compete with Russian accents.

All accents are hit-or-miss. Some people have it so think that only local people can understand the quirks of the language. Others simply have a variation of the accent that sounds horrible. Seems every accent has beautiful voices somewhere. The only question is who has both a not annoying voice and mannerisms(Not saying Um and Uh all the time, no pausing after the first few words to think of the rest, etc) that are good for an interview.

No east coast nasal.
Wait, what?

Probably referring to the New Jersey accent here. We say "New Joy-zee" for New Jersey and "Wood-er" for water. It's fairly nasal if you have the right kind of bubblegum-chewing hairdresser stereotype speaking. The Bostonian accent is also somewhat a cross of nasal British (for dropping the R's at the ends of words like "Cheddah" for cheddar). Brooklyn-ese drops the "h" before a "u"-- "That statue of a 'uman is 'uge."

The thing that confuses me about dorfs is this. Dorf 1 dies in an avalance or somesuch. Dorf 2 is friends with dorf 3 and dorf 1. Dorf 2 berserks because of his friends death and kills dorf 3. also a friend. W. T. F.

I've been told I have an Oxfordian accent. Like the ones you hear in comedies. Twice. By teachers.

So I guess I sound posh. Its okay, though. The Danish accent is urgh-tastic.

I'm in the Californian accent area, but a little closer to the central U.S. accent area; the one that contains almost no verbal clues and is one of the few, "no accent" areas that exist.

Gwen from Torchwood.

That is south Wales (Torchwood being filmed in Cardiff).

It's an absolute cracker, as far as accents go.

I have known several people from the Cardiff - Swansea area and I could listen to them talk for quite a long period of time, even though when they are in full flow, with fellow welshpeople, at first they can seem almost indecipherable.
