Nope, they'll only bash.their nice at the start but in the end,their just another meatshield.

This is why I prefer lashers, if I can find them.  Useful at crowd-control, and unlikely to actually do all the killing.  On the other hand, it makes killing all those near-useless elven bowman easy to slaughter once I realize how bad they are.

Crossbowmen/bowmen should be recruited only at the very closest town to your quest location or they'll waste all their bolts on wolves before they see a single giant.
