After entering, we head to this side room. It's not the right place, but it's a good area to lure guards into and pick them off so we don't have to deal with them later.
Also a nice place to chat with some of the inhabitants.
There's the guard. They come one by one, easy pickings.
The
real door is next to Gothryd. It's a difficult one to crack, even this open spell fails, but eventually we bash it down.
She's after the treasury! Guards!
Behind the door is this back throne room.
And then this massive place. We need to get to that long platform off in the distance, and this potion is the best way right now.
After knocking an orc off the ledge, time to go through the door on the north end.
Another large chamber, but we're not there yet.
Off the north end, in a short hallway, is this door, which leads to...
Here we are! The Totem is in that barred block in the middle. We'll have to figure out a way in.
Gothryd's battlemages guard it jealously, though; fortunately, with a cloak absorbing their spells, they're only powering us.

Unfortunately, this happens. We can survive long enough to get out of the castle, at least, fortunately.
Alright, down in the water here is our first ticket in.
The southeast passage leads us underwater, but with our helmet that's no problem.
This is a problem, though. The poison turns into a full-blown disease... we'll definitely need to get that dealt with quickly.
After another ice atronach, here's the wheel we need.
This brings the treasury down off the ceiling. But how do we get out?
These chains. The middle one brings us out; I don't remember which one is which (I get left and right mixed up easily), but one gives you water breathing and the other tosses you into the air above the treasury block.
After fighting a couple more battlemages to regain magicka, we can levitate onto the block, flip this switch to open the bars...
And there's our goal! The great and power... ful...
