1) The first step is to install DOSBox. Launch its setup program and install with default options.

Shortened due to complaints

Thank you , but now I have an other issue  ???  :o anyways do you know how I can bind the interact key seeing as I play the game like an FPS not a point and click game I checked the controls and I got nothing

What's the smallest province in the game, and is it plot-relevant?

Province?  High Rock is smaller than Hammerfell, so...  ;D  The smallest kingdom is Cybiades.  And not only is it not plot-relevant, it's not anything-relevant.  There's a grand total of zero towns, homes, and temples on it, and one dungeon we can't actually go to as things stand.  The smallest kingdom that's in any way useful would be Betony or Pothago.  Size isn't a concern, though, so in all actuality most of them are fair game.

Parrying, you mean?  It seems to just happen, maybe as a function of weapon skill and/or when you swing.  Or I might just be imagining it.  Better to raise Agility and the Dodging skill, anyway.

Bloody hell, uberdwarf. Don't quote the entire damn thing. Or, if you must, atleast put it in spoilers.

Ok. Amending the previous suggestion: Resolve the plot hook, then leave the kingdom of Daggerfall and head to nearby Shalgora. Preferably the city of Kirkbrugh - they seem to have at least one of every shop there, and it looks like it will make a good base of operations for at least a short time.

Just a question:

Is there a Dark Brotherhood in this game?
If so, you betcha ass you better join them up.

If not, then build up a foundation and find your base of operations.
I suggest what Free Beer said, except with more theivery.
That way, you can skip a lot of the lame dungeons.

It's under Controls as 'Activate Object' or something like that.

Harried, harried.  I'll have a chance to play today, though, so at least there should be a new post later today...

Hmph, I happen to like the dungeons, myself.  Then again, I don't get lost very easily.  :P

Ahh, not a bad choice.  I don't know of any dungeons in Shalgora yet, but that's what quests are for.  ;D

Starting playing now, so there'll be an update once I'm done with that, and I've actually typed everything out...

Daggerfall dungeons are like mating octopi octopodes octo-whatevers.

An old quote, but an accurate one; there's a screenshot in here that gives you a hint of that.

Alright, there's three choices to be made here.  There's actually two main quests that we can do now, though one of them is not quite necessary.  I'm not sure about a time limit on this one, as I tend to go for it right away, but I don't think there is one.

It looks like we missed out on the Dark Brotherhood. They are just the Fighter's Guild with topless dancers, anyway.

I think a good first goal would be to summon Hermaeus Mora. That will cost ~150,000 gold pieces and will require a rank of Warlock (five more ranks than what we've got currently) in the Mages' Guild. The day to look out for is early in First Seed (next month). It would be tough, but is it possible?

I love how right after you successfully bluff your way out of a prison sentence you go to the "Mordard House of Corrections", apparently prison full of angry mummies and dog-sized spiders.  Good thing you bluffed your way out.

I think the Morgiah quest does have a time limit of like a month or a season or something to at least show up and talk to her, which I think also applies to most quests with no time limit (save the really limitless ones), but I don't know.  I say go for it, and with any luck you'll wind up with an Argonian vampire.
