I debated over not sharing this one since it's an actual photo of me and a kid I teach, but I think I can probably trust you guys to not stalk me or a random preschooler all the way to Prague, and it's such a damned cute picture...

I can't. There must be something wrong with me, because I find babies and toddlers not that cute.

If you all like pictures so much, why not buy a frame and printer? I actually have stuff on my desktop.

All my stuff is in the start menu or my documents. Most of my computer activities are just watching videos (in my documents) and playing a few games (in Steam or documents or occasionally the start menu). I keep DF on the desktop mainly as a sort of tribute - I only actually look at the desktop once every few days or so, and that's usually to empty the recycling bin. So there wouldn't be any point to keeping stuff there. Sometimes I forget which picture is even on the desktop and am pleasantly surprised to rediscover it.

Oh hey, Gleejoy. Too bad that story ended prematurely...
Cookie awarded. Yeah, I'm sad about that story, too.
DNTtRS was one of the things that got me into this forum.
Has sads now.  :'(
Feels bad for bringing DNTtRS up, now.

Sorry.

I was just thinking the same thing.

Because we prefer clean, orderly spaces (at least in terms of desktop clutter, hah)? We all have stuff on our desktops as well. Why are you being so judgmental over something like whether someone uses icons on their desktop or a neatly arranged start menu and toolbar to sort their files?

Aurora on small monitors:
1. Game Parameters -> Reduced Height Windows.
2. Lock taskbar to the right side of your desktop.
3. Run Resize Enable

Not a desktop, but I set my iPhone's background to the Vigilo Confido X-Com logo, and it works great.

It's the desktop of my smartphone. it animates, and changes color as it drains the battery.

Haha, well my avatar is an old stick-figure rendition of myself from a comic I used to draw, so I guess that's a good thing! : ) Someday I'll have to update it. My arting skills have improved a bit since then.
